About

I'm a mechanical engineering student at Georgia Tech (B.S. Mechanical Engineering, Math minor, May 2028, 3.95 GPA). I like engineering where analysis connects directly to hardware: design it, model it, build it, test it, and iterate. Right now that means a 6-DOF robot arm, first-author multiphase-flow research, and FSAE powertrain work. I'm looking for Summer 2027 internships in robotics, mechatronics, and mechanical design. US citizen.

Experience

Research Intern, Advanced Manufacturing Pilot Facility (Georgia Tech) · May–Aug 2025

  • Designed from scratch a modular support system for 18 rolling-mill components using 80/20 extrusions, and validated load paths and bolt stresses under worst-case dynamic loads in ANSYS FEA. The system is still in use.

  • Reduced per-part loading time by 35% by optimizing fixture layout and ergonomics, which also reduced operator strain.

Concept Engineering Intern, Milwaukee Tool · Jul–Aug 2023

  • Designed a hammer impact-force measurement jig in SolidWorks and prototyped the rig with CNC and 3D printing to compare hammer head and handle materials. The comparison led to a 25% reduction in hand-arm vibration.

Concept Engineering Intern, Ryobi · Jul–Aug 2022

  • Improved a 4 V Ryobi drill by integrating an IR proximity sensor to prevent over-drilling, an accelerometer for digital leveling, and an LED display for real-time feedback and battery status, using Arduino and powder-bed-fusion printed parts.

  • Ran user tests with 15 hobbyists: 10% fewer drilling errors and a 15% increase in perceived ease of use.

  • Designed a 4 V folding light under injection-molding constraints, prototyped it in Onshape, and pitched it to Ryobi engineers.

Research

Researcher, Center for Multiphase Flow Research (Georgia Tech) · Apr 2026–present

  • Developed a population-balance model coupling turbulent collision dynamics with power-law rheology to predict bubble growth in decaying turbulence. First author, presenting at the APS Division of Fluid Dynamics meeting in November 2026.

  • Designed Particle Shadow Velocimetry experiments to characterize surfactant effects on bubble coalescence.

  • Built a MATLAB edge-detection pipeline that measures bubble counts and diameters across thousands of high-speed images.
