Hytech Racing FSAE Gearbox Assembly Work Instructions
Created press tools and other tools to with bandsaw, angle grinder, CNC to speed up gearbox (dis)assembly from over 30 mins to less than 10.
Created work instructions and 6 reusable aluminum press tools with CNC, lathe, band saw to facilitate gear orientation and (dis)assembly of gearbox, inaugurating spontaneous disassembly/reassembly for quick fixes.
Allows for quick gearbox disassembly between race events.
Created “gear-clocking tool” with 3D CNC which allows “clocking” of gears to ensure correct orientation while most of gearbox is assembled.
